Major concern of protestors
India is an agriculture based country and therefore employs 58% of Indian population and contribute to about 15% of the GDP. Since, the country has a lot of farmers therefore they always have been the centre of the policies and budget. So, this time too they came in light due to the acts enacted by the government for their benefits.

According to the government these laws would increase their income ,make them self reliant but would also liberalise them from the clutches of the middleman. Despite, such great promises, the farmers of the country seemed unhappy! about the laws. Well, the farmers believe that these laws would not liberalise and uplift them instead it would benefit to the companies and businessman . These laws actually give farmers the liberty to sell their products outside the Mandi in any place in India, big buyers and farmers would be able to deal directly. By reading the provisions one must think that what is wrong with the law? because everything seems fine as a viewer but the ones who would deal with this seems to be a lot terrified because according to them they have  tried selling their goods like sugarcane directly to the mill owners and companies and what they faced is not good . According to them mill owners don’t pay on time and big buyers buy according to their price so farmers would not be able to have a minimum price.

We all know about MSP(minimum support price ), this is being set by the government . Farmers say that these bills would curb MSP but the prime minister himself assured that MSP would persist .

So, the impression we get is that the farmers misunderstood , but that is not true because in the law nowhere has been mentioned that the companies or buyers would be obliged to pay an amount higher or equivalent to MSP , which is one of the greatest concern . Since nothing is mentioned about it so companies and buyers can easily exploit farmers .
