Ayurvedic Surgeons exist for real?

The government of India on December 2020 declared that now Ayurvedic doctors would also be able to perform surgeries.  The BJP led government came to power in 2014 and since then they have been vocal for the Indian culture and tradition. It is also a fact that after this government the hype for Ayurveda and yoga increased. Before this, a much lesser section of people believed in choosing Ayurveda over allopathy.

This due to the fact that the use of some allopathic drugs causes side effects while Ayurvedic, medicines have no or fewer side effects. 

Moreover, Indians feel proud to consume Ayurvedic items as it is a part of their culture and tradition.

The place where Ayurveda lacks is that it cannot provide immediate help to the patient. Therefore, allopathy somehow advances it. Now the government has decided to allow Ayurvedic doctors to perform surgery. Thus the decision is facing criticism from doctors across the country as Ayurveda deals with medicines but not with surgery and by doing so the medicine hub of the country will be affected.
